Folk Art the Fusible Way
The following one day workshops are based on Nellie's line of fusible appliqué patterns. Students will learn a variety of techniques to make fusible appliqué an enjoyable experience. They will learn primitive stitching techniques, using a teflon pressing sheet, pros and cons of the various fusible webs, adapting appliqué patterns to fusible patterns and how to choose fabrics to get the "folk art look". This is a stress free, fun day of playing with fabric.
